From outdoor learning to conservation work, there’s plenty on offer at Mugdock Country Park.

If your class is covering an environmental or science topic then you can book a Ranger-led activity to complement your class topic. Forest School activities are a great way to engage with the outdoors and learn some skills. Our Forest Schools Ranger can help you to achieve this. If you’re a keen wildlife spotter, then Mugdock has a wealth of wildlife within its varied habitats.

The Ranger Service carry out wildlife recording programmes and if you’d like to get involved then more details can be found below. Conservation management is a huge part of the work of the Ranger Service and one of the best ways to get involved and learn new skills is to join one of our volunteer groupsMugdock has a great wealth of history from ruined castles to a World War II gunsite.
