Cani-fit Time Trial at Mugdock

Mugdock’s History and Mysteries

Monday 1st April 1pm – 3.30pm

Enjoy a Ranger led journey through time (no Tardis required!) From a 14th century castle to WWII gunsites and a 1950’s zoo! With special access to the tower at Mugdock Castle, this is a family walk not to be missed! Meet at the Visitor Centre. Cost £5.

Concerned about his small stature, a young Scottish boy applies for a mail-order body building course, successfully gaining both height and strength. Owls cannot digest the bones and fur of the small mammals they feed on. Instead, these are formed into a pellet and popped out of its mouth! Come along and have a go at dissecting the pellets - it is truly fascinating and very popular with all ages. Meet the Ranger at the Visitor Centre. Cost £3 per child.

Three mixed-race girls are torn brutally from their Aboriginal mother and sent over a thousand miles away to a training camp for domestic workers as part of a government policy to integrate them into white society. Celebrate all things spring-like and join in with some cracking activities! The search is on in our great Easter egg hunt, create a wildlife pavement art masterpiece, and bring a hard-boiled egg for the egg rolling competition. Activities based around the Visitor Centre.
