ULTM8 WARRIOR EVENT

Mugdock, Sunday 25th August, 9am-1.30pm

Ultm8 Warrior is the UK’s first “Junior only” OCR event series! We’ll be offering heats for the following age groups 4-6yrs (1Km), 7-9yrs (2Km) and 10-13yrs (3Km). Mugdock’s History and Mysteries

Enjoy a Ranger led journey through time (no Tardis required!) From a 14th century castle to WWII gunsites and a 1950’s zoo! With special access to the tower at Mugdock Castle, this is a family walk not to be missed! Meet at the Visitor Centre. Cost £5.

Build a Harry Potter Birch Broom at Lenzie Moss (Mag/Al)

Sunday 6th October 1pm – 3pm

Birch trees are being removed from Lenzie Moss to help the bog areas become boggy again. So let’s put the birch to good use and make a broom to fly to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Join in anytime, the Ranger Service and Friends of Lenzie Moss will be there to assist you. Follow the signs from the moss end of Lenzie Railway Station car park. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost £1.

course. The course also runs on Monday Sat 16

Suitable for ages 7-Adult £4.50 per item. Adult supervision is required for children so why not join in and make one for yourself too! We will be using sharp scissors and sewing needles. Drop in and join in, sessions start every 30 mins from 11-2 but you can stay as long as you need.
